A small house, made slowly.
The Stitch Room in 2014 in a third-floor walk-up in the 7ème, with one sewing machine, two pairs of hands, and a stubborn idea — that beautiful clothes do not need to be made quickly. A decade later, the machine has been joined by a few more, the room by a larger one, but the rule remains the sam.

Trained at Chambre Syndicale, Aurélie spent eight years in the ateliers of Lemaire and Margiela before opening her own house. Her work draws from a quiet European tradition — natural fibres, French seams, hand-finished hems, and a refusal to use plastic trims of any kind.
Each season we release a small collection — usually under thirty pieces — drawn from the textiles we’ve sourced that year. We do not chase trends. We chase good cloth.
